Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued online Computer Based Test (CBT) Syllabus and Exam Pattern for recruitment to the posts of Special Survey Assistant Settlement Officer/ Special survey kannoongo/ Special survey Amin & Special survey Clerk for 10,101 vacancies under Department of Revenue and Land Reforms, Directorate of Land Records & Survey (DLRS).

DLRS Bihar Recruitment Exam Scheme 2023

1. This exam will be online computer based.
2. The medium of language in the Online Computer Based Examination will be English/ Hindi.
3. The questions asked in the examination will be objective. There will be (+4) marks for each correct answer and (-1) marks for four wrong answers.
4. The total number of questions for the Online Computer Based Examination will be 100. The total duration of the Online Computer Based Examination will be 2 hours 15 minutes.
5. All 100 questions of online computer based test will be asked in two sections for post code no. 01, 02, and 03 and 150 questions in one section for post code no. 04.

General Studies, Mental Ability & Indian Language : Questions on General Science will cover General appreciation and understanding of science including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any particular scientific discipline. In current events, knowledge of significant national and international events will be tested. In History of India, emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic and political aspects. Questions on the Indian National Movement will relate to the nature and character of the nineteenth century resurgence, growth of nationalism and attainment of Independence. In Geography, emphasis will be on Geography of India. Questions on the Geography of India will relate to physical, social and economic Geography of the country, including the main features of Indian agricultural and natural resources. Questions on Indian Polity and Economy will test knowledge of the country’s political system and Constitution of India, Panchayati Raj, Social Systems and economic developments in India. On general mental ability, the candidates will be tested on reasoning and analytical abilities.

Structure, Estimating and Costing, Water Resources Engg., Program Elective, Entrepreneurship and Start-ups, Public Health Engineering, Advanced Design of Structures, Program Elective, Open Elective / COE.
